Our Smith Mt. Lake Home

Our home was custom built for us starting in late fall 1990.  We moved in on June 16, 1991.  Our builder employed a skilled team of carpenters and used quality building materials.  We have meticulously maintained it over the years.  A lot of TLC and pride has gone into our home.

We never thought we would ever want to move, but we happened upon a "For Sale" sign in Chamblissburg.  We debated on the purchase until we nearly lost the property.  We did not want to move!  What finally made the decision for us was a walk past the pond, to the very back of the property.  We knew we wanted to build a house there!

We do not build and sell homes often.  A pattern has formed of building about every 15 years.  At our age, the next move will be a nursing home!
